When you donate to Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom, you’re donating to the future of Wyoming.

The responsible development, care, and use of our natural resources starts from the ground up—which, in this case, is in early childhood education. We’re working to ensure that future generations of Wyoming leaders, decision-makers, volunteers, and voters become stewards for our state.

Today’s youth will become tomorrow’s decision makers, and we need your help to equip them with critical thinking skills necessary to make educated decisions. All donations to Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom are tax deductible, and we send each donor a letter designating the amount contributed along with other pertinent tax information. What’s the difference between making a traditional donation versus making a donation to our endowment fund? With a traditional donation, the full dollar amount of your gift is available for us to use immediately; with a donation toward our endowment fund, your gift becomes a long-term investment in the future of our programs.

Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity; therefore, your contribution may be tax-deductible. Please check with your tax advisor to find out more.

My company matches my gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations. Is Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom eligible to receive this type of match? Or what if my company wants to set up employee contributions?

Yes, the IRS recognizes Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code. We would love to see this type of donation! If your company also wants to set up employee contributions from staff, we can set this up with our accounting staff and our automatic deposits. All our non-traditional gift opportunities are approved by our Board of Directors before acceptance. We have seen non-traditional gifts work well and have found that a bargain sale property, for example, can be highly beneficial for the donor and Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom. In fact, Ag in the Classroom is currently looking for this type of gift for staff office space. The non-traditional opportunities for giving can be very helpful.
