We have big things planned for the Wyoming Stewardship Project in the summer of 2020! With units available online as a free resource, we will be offering two-day Wyoming Stewardship Project workshops for educators in 12 communities statewide. During each workshop, participants will dive deep into lessons from one of three content areas: agriculture, minerals and energy, or outdoor recreation and tourism. Hands-on design challenges, standards alignment, and teacher vs. student tasks are all part of the workshop schedule. We also invite participants to join us on a field trip related to the unit they’re working on. These field trips provide a prime opportunity for educators to connect with resources in their local communities.
It is our goal for participants to leave workshops feeling empowered to use the Wyoming Stewardship Project in their own classrooms. When the 2020-2021 school year begins, our staff members will continue to be available to support workshop participants.
Registration is free, but space is limited, and registration closes March 31st.
