Using the Wyoming Stewardship Project Slideshows

These teaching resources have been developed for teachers to use in the classroom for in-person instruction or virtual use of the Wyoming Stewardship Project units. Each set of slides is designed for use alongside the lesson plans for this unit. Click the buttons on the right to download the PowerPoint files or Google Slides for each lesson. Feel free to adjust the slides to fit the needs of your class.

Information in the notes include:
- The instructional Procedure/Steps the slide corresponds within the units
- Suggestions or clarifications for instruction in virtual or in-person activities

Padlet	Virtual Bulletin Board Padlet can be used for discussions, book reports, quizzes, essays, mapping activities, study guides, etc.	30-day free trial – 3 boards Upgrade: $99 per year for teachers. School options available.	Examples of how to use Padlet are available through the Padlet Gallery. Able to include uploaded files (documents, images, videos, etc.)

Mindmeister	Mind Mapping Project planning, idea management, brainstorming, note-taking, etc.	Free – 3 maps Upgrade: $4.99 per month, unlimited maps	Can connect to MeisterTask (assign tasks, set the start & due dates, indicate progress, create email reminders, etc.)

Slido	Polling Tool Used for polling students or to provide question/answer tool for live or remote classes. Slido can be used to collect instant feedback, brainstorm ideas, check for understanding. Screencastify	Screen Recorder Record, edit, share videos to provide instruction, assignment solutions, or to give verbal feedback. Students can practice speech and language, reflect on their work, and create slide presentations. Nearpod	Interactive Lessons Used for live participation, student-paced lessons, or as a presentation.
