Using the Wyoming Stewardship Project Slideshows

These slideshows have been developed for teachers to use in the classroom for in-person instruction or virtual use of the Wyoming Stewardship Project units. Each set of slides is designed for use alongside the lesson plans for this unit. Click the buttons on the right to download the PowerPoint files or Google Slides for each lesson. Feel free to adjust the slides to fit the needs of your class.

The notes are located below the slide being used.
Information in the notes include:
- The instructional Procedure/Steps the slide corresponds within the units
- Suggestions or clarifications for instruction in virtual or in-person activities

Padlet	Virtual Bulletin Board Padlet can be used for discussions, book reports, quizzes, essays, mapping activities, study guides, etc.	30-day free trial – 3 boards Upgrade: $99 per year for teachers. School options available.	Examples of how to use Padlet are available through the Padlet Gallery. Able to include uploaded files (documents, images, videos, etc.)
Cardsmith	Virtual Bulletin Board/Sticky notes Cardsmith creates virtual Sticky Notes that can be moved or rearranged as ideas are added. Kidspiration	Mind Mapping Visually display and organize thoughts and ideas across various disciplines. Users can hear and see words, numbers, and concepts.	Download the app from iTunes, $9.99	Many schools have Kidspiration software. Kidspiration is a kid version of Inspiration.
Mindmeister	Mind Mapping Project planning, idea management, brainstorming, note-taking, etc.	Free – 3 maps Upgrade: $4.99 per month, unlimited maps	Can connect to MeisterTask (assign tasks, set the start & due dates, indicate progress, create email reminders, etc.)
Google Forms	Surveys, quizzes, and questionnaires Create and analyze surveys Provides instant results as they come in, and data can be summarized at a glance with charts and graphs. Slido	Polling Tool Used for polling students or to provide question/answer tool for live or remote classes. Slido can be used to collect instant feedback, brainstorm ideas, check for understanding. Screencastify	Screen Recorder Record, edit, share videos to provide instruction, assignment solutions, or to give verbal feedback. Students can practice speech and language, reflect on their work, and create slide presentations. Wakelet	Virtual Collaboration Can be used for presenting, sharing resources, and creating portfolios, digital storytelling, or for students to do collaborative projects	Free Upgrade: Free	Must be 13+ to have an account. Google Compatible.
Nearpod	Interactive Lessons Used for live participation, student-paced lessons, or as a presentation.
